Before uploading, make sure your artwork follows the requirements below. Files built to these specs are easier to move through production, while files that miss them may need updates, be sent back, or produce lower-quality results.

Size & artboard setup
Create your file at actual print size — 1:1, with no resizing needed on our side.
Width limit: 52 inches across.
Keep artwork inside the artboard: anything outside the canvas or artboard is not included in the print area. Crop the document to the final design.
Remove extra blank space: clean up unused white area around the artwork so sizing and placement stay accurate.
Resolution & upload size
Keep the artwork sharp at actual size and within the upload limit.
Minimum resolution · 72 PPI @ 1:1 Maximum file size · 1 GB
For large-format printing, 72 PPI at full size is the minimum. Lower-resolution files may look blurry or pixelated, and missing detail cannot be restored after upload.
Keep each file at 1 GB or less so uploads, transfers, and processing stay reliable.
Color setup & spot colors
Use RGB for your file, and treat spot colors as reference points only.
Color mode: submit artwork in RGB (sRGB) for the most consistent output.
Spot colors from our library are meant as visual guides and are not exact Pantone® matches. If color accuracy is critical, compare against a physical printed chart before final approval.
Fonts, effects & transparency
Finalize anything that could display differently from one system to another.
Fonts: embed all fonts, or convert text to outlines/paths before saving the file.
Transparency & effects: flatten or rasterize overlays, shadows, glows, gradients, and transparency effects so they output as intended.
Overprint: turn overprint off unless it is intentional. Accidental overprint settings can cause artwork elements to disappear in print.
Linked files & packaged artwork
If your file depends on outside assets, those assets need to be included.
For layered files such as AI or PSD, embed or package every linked image. Missing links can leave empty areas where artwork should appear.
File types we accept
The following formats are supported for upload.

Recommended: a flattened PDF/X-1a:2001 is usually the safest format for print-ready artwork.
Artwork we may decline
Some files may not be accepted for production.
We may refuse artwork that contains offensive, inappropriate, illegal, or otherwise prohibited content.
Your uploaded file is final
Production uses the artwork exactly as it is provided.
Artwork is printed as uploaded. Our production workflow does not include automatic edits or pre-print corrections.
By submitting a file, you are confirming that the size, resolution, color, spelling, and layout are ready for print.
Any errors contained in the uploaded artwork remain the customer's responsibility.

Need a second set of eyes? Contact our design team before placing your order. Once a print order is submitted, the file can move directly into production. Problems like low resolution, incorrect sizing, or layout mistakes may not be caught before printing. Contact the design team →
Files may be held or returned
Files that do not meet the requirements can delay the job.
Artwork that does not meet these requirements may be rejected, placed on hold, or returned for correction. These issues can push back processing and production timelines.
